I am astonished by Ted Thompsons response to Tom Pipines Question.

You can see in his eyes that Ted is heartfelt about the whole situation.  The word "frank" has been heard several times in the last few days.  Let's face it, Brett Favre said, "I am ready to retire."  Put yourself in managements shoes.  I think they have handled this situation with true professionalism and honor.

Did you look in his eyes when Brett was trying to work it out...it was I wish you'd just go away and let my guy Rodgers play...I don't buy the heartfelt BLEEP!

Im a lifelong Packer fan living in North Carolina. Im very down about how this all turned out. Brett as a Jet is so wrong it makes me sick! We may never really know how and why this happened but it is what it is. I will still root for The Pack like I have for the last 40yrs. This is a good team, I hope Aaron Rodgers doesnt mess it up. I wish Brett good luck but The Green Bay Packers are my team.

We are turning the clock back to late 70's-80's.I see a 6-10 / 7-9 .Maybe tied with Detroit. This season is Ted Thompson season.I hope he falls flat on his face.Moving on over to be a Jets fan for a few years. I hope. But hey I could move up the Ticket list.Maybe get the tickets and watch a team that will be in the basement.

Thanks for the video Packer girl!!!!

He will be missed as a packer. :(

Let's all swallow our pride and take his legacy he's left with a grain of salt.

We're all true Favre fans deep in our hearts and we can all collaborate to see his jersey retired to the team's hall of fame.

On the plus side we as packer fans now have a team to root for in the AFC in beating the big teams like the Patriots and the Giants. :)

Best of luck Brett!!!!!

Are you mental? Someone looking or sounding heartfelt would require them to actually have a heart. No - in Thompson's case - there is just a great big ego where his heart should be. May he rot in ****

I 100% agree with angbar!!! Very, very well put. My thoughts EXACTLY. I cant believe how the fox6 polls turned out: 52% root for Jets, 47% root for Packers. That is just irrational people!! LOL

Zoomie2112, If you believe that then I have a bridge to sell you. You must be a salesman's dream, or just plain stupid. I bet you couldn't make a powder puff football team.

Thanks for the personal bashing. I actually leave for the Air Forces basic training in December. Will be glad to serve such ruthless citizens as yourselves. =\

I personally don't feel Ted Thompson showed any emotion through all of this. I think he is a pantload and the Packers would be better off with out him. Of course that is just my opinion.

Although I personally don't agree with your blog Zoomie, I still respect your opinion.

Also, best of luck to you with your basic training in the Air Force.
