Sure, lawmakers are steamed that AIG spent nearly half a million dollars on a retreat for executives just a couple days after receiving money from the federal government.

They're upset?

What about me?! I've been with AIG for a couple years and just saw my premium go up for the next 6-month policy. And it is not like I've had any recent "issues" in the last six months that would affect this.

I am absolutely livid.

Couldn't agree with Sen. Barack Obama more... "Those executives should be fired," he said in the debate last night.

They should be fired.

I love this quote from Rep. Carolyn Maloney of New York:

"You have cost my constituents and the taxpayers of this country $85 billion and run into the ground one of the most respected insurance companies in the history of our country... You were just gambling billions, possibly trillions of dollars."

I have already contacted my insurance agent and asked her to find me a different company. I can't support this kind of behavior.

The worst part is it isn't just AIG.
The big boys and girls are partying at our expense. I bet they feel better knowing that we bailed them out and now they can still go on their European vacation.
It's just sickening.

Executives at the County Courthouse are just as greedy. The Pension Scandal is a prime example. Top aides walked away with millions in pension benefits and continue to give under-the-table raises to "buddies". While the little man takes the blame with manpower cuts and decreased benefits.

Money will destroy us as a Nation.

We have put too much value on it. We need to Eliminate the entire concept of paper strips and metal round discs.

We have to come up with a new Worldwide Credit and Debit System by which people will be given credit for services rendered and products produced, and Debits for services used and products consumed.

Elminate money, yeah and just do away with compensation...........why not make it from each according to his ability, to each according to his need?????

And yeah, AIG higher ups going on a junket after being "bailed out"............take it out of there pay I say.

Yet today, Obama's Democrat Buddy Barney Franks gave AIG $37 billion more.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Federal Reserve has agreed to provide insurance giant American International Group with a loan of up to $37.8 billion, on top of one made to the troubled company last month.

To be sure, at the very least that money should be deducted from what the government gives AIG. What those AIG execs did was stupid, stupid, stupid. They deserve every contempt and ridicule that anyone can give them. Should they ever have to seek employment elsewhere this episode should dog them wherever they go. I refuse to call their actions criminal. There are apparently no laws agaisnt what they did. But it is a vile assault on common sense. Worst of all, it smears the reputation of the vast majority of good and decent corporate executives who labor long and hard to run their corporations in legal, ethical, and upstanding ways to produce a fair and just profit for their investors.

There is NOTHING to justify this blatant disrespect for the taxpayers. And for Bonehead er Barney Frank (D Massachusetts)to give AIG even more on top of it is indefensible. This is just getting worse by the second. Bend over people, your Government is ready to serve you what you deserve.

The funny thing is, the polls call for 4 more years of democrats reaching into your pocket.

Let me see if I got this right Obama. Defending freedom, is waste of money, However dumping what will amount to Trillions into compainies, ran by criminals. Defended By democrats, Ignored by the senate judicial system, (Ran by more democrats)

oil by the barrel fell 45% from it's high, gas fell 15% per gallon. Democrat controlled senate, missing that one too?
