New IE Add-On

So this will probably only be interesting if you're a techie like myself, but Microsoft just unveiled a new add-on for IE.  It's called IE7Pro.

Basically, it makes IE7 a little more like Firefox (which btw, if you haven't downloaded FF3 Beta5, please do so immediately. It ROCKS).

But, will it get rid of that horrid grey background when you build a site with .png files?

Doubtful.

Boo.

pngfix.js works well, and if you are using PNGs for backgrounds, bgsleight.js helps. I thought alpha transparency issues were fixed in 7 and only a problem with 6 and lower...

Just so you know, IE7Pro is an add on, but it is not written nor published by Microsoft. You can read more about the guys who made it at the official site for the plugin, IE7Pro.com
