Does anyone else feel intimidated by the fact of new technology appearing everywhere you look?  Not to be arrogant or anything, but I'm normally very good with al this tec stuff.  However while shopping for a new video camera I realized that there is still much to learn.  Thats where you guys come in.  I (and probably many others) need help deciphering between Mini DV, DVD, and Memory Stick.  If you could please share your wizdom and stories of any of the memory systems above, it would be GREAT!

Thanks A Bunch,

Most cameras today use either a Compact Flash Card, SD (Secure Digital) Card, or a DVD to store data (the pictures or video you record)

They come in a variety of storage capacities, 512MB, 1 Gig Byte, even up to 8 Gigabytes, or 16.

1 GB is sufficient for the pics you capture. These pics can be downloaded on your laptop or desktop computer.

Or you can take them to the nearest Walgreens or Photo Shop for downloading and printing.

Check the recording format for the particular camera you own.
