Gas pump frustration

Okay, I'm as frustrated as the next person about the high price of gas...

But what makes me even more angry about this high price of fuel -- is how difficult it is to finish filling your tank on an even dollar.

You know what I'm talking about? Unless you're right now, you're going to end up pumping $45.01 or $38.02. One or two cents off almost all the time -- because each little squeeze of fuel costs that much more.

Is this just me -- or is it ticking off other people too?

That average is right on!!....i filled my mom's tank up this weekend and paid for it just to help her out with the squeeze.

And keep your eye on the read out when you put the nozel in the filler on your car! If it jumps 17 cents before you even pull the "trigger" don't be a fool. Tell the attendant. And yes we are all frustrated. But eventually the price will start to come down, or at least, level off.

chuckle, chuckle,

If having a "perfect" /even dollar amount is ticking you off..........I'd say you are need to re-focus that frustration to the balance of the bill, not just the uneven cents.
