If you are a true Brett Favre Fan, then you will agree that Green Bay has really messed up!!!!!!!! not for one minute can we blame Brett for wanting to play, He is the MOST competitive player, and plays for the love of the game, not the money!!!  I believe he was   forced to make a RASH decision to retire!!!  we all saw his emotions the day he announced it on TV.  I will always remember it, because I taped it.  I believe Ted Thompson with his alter EGO drove Brett away, he knew what he was doing, after all he was the one who brought Rogers to green bay!!! I was very saddened the Day he retired and it was a very emotional day.  I could have accepted that, atleast, he would have remained a Packer! now we have lost him to the Jets!! just makes me sick.  TED Thompson, you need to be Evicted from this organization!!!! I hope Brett just kicks some butt, and goes all the way, because we all know Roger's will not prevail!!! to me, the packers just may have lost alot of their loyal fans because of this, and may have a great impact in the future, meaning we won't be the greatest fans anymore!!! plain and simple they trully messed up BIG!!!!  You go Brett, your true fans will be cheering you on all the way!!!

Ted and Mike, even Mark all looked like deer caught in the headlike on the news conference, I hope they waych it, and see how they look as if they know they messed up! I really wish I had taped Favres retirement - although I got of lot of si's Im working on getting signed by brett!, wish me luck! GO BRETT! YOUR THE MAN! gREEN BAY, .. . WELL TED AND MIKE - I LOST ALL RESPECT - just another hurt - and frustrated Favre fan, - I feel for rogers though, he doesnt have what it takes - and i think he thinks he does, and teddy boy, ...well he just doesnt think! have a great year Brett!

I had a hard time dealing with this also. I finly figured out that my being heartbroken had to do with the fact that The Packers were not the organization I had come to love, respect and value. A team I couldn't wait to see each sunday. They were honest, had integrity, and said it like it was. They had become something I couldn't reconize at all. I didn't know them at all. For me that is what hurt alot. I know where Brett is and I will find some way to watch him when he plays. But the Packers will have to earn me back and I don't know how they will do that.

Sunday's were my favorite day of the week, I'd wake up get dressed in my Packer Attire, and get excited to watch the packer's play. Remember the game (although on a monday night) how much emotion everyone on the team played after Brett's dad passed!!! I will never forget that game!!! to me it was like the super bowl!!! and that is how much impact Brett gave to his team and of course his loyal fans!!! it will never be the same!!!!

I totally agree with this blog.. brett was the one who brought back the spirit of lombardi back to the packer organization and watching him play was so exciting cuz he was so spirited.. and yea, so what he retired and wanted to come back, i agree too that ted thompson drove him to make decision.. i fear the packers will be a cold hearted organization now, with no talent or spirit or leadership. what a shame what a shame...

dare2bg8 I understand that the Packers are part of 32 and have a new set in management. But I disagree with you on the special part. To us fans they are still special and we are use to them being honest, have integity and telling it like it is with us. We could trust them/management to tell us the truth. But with this mess with Brett I can't trust them any longer. The Packers I was passion about didn't have to hire a PR firm to clean up a mess management get themselves into.
