It's weird.  I've noticed that when the weather forecasts look like this ^

< And when local parks are flooded to the point that bridges become swallowed

When people could potentially sit back and whine about the bad weather . . . we don't!

I mean, sure, we flood the Fox 6 chatrooms (pun intended) and gripe a bit . . .

but we also make arrangements to load two of every animal except mosquitos.

I don't want to get too cheesy but I've seen some really nice things happen.  This past week we got some really heavy rain that brought down tree limbs in the middle of the street.  I saw a guy, in the middle of one of the downpours, run out of the passenger side of a car and drag it off to the side of the road while the driver kept the hazards on and made sure his buddy wasn't going to get hit.

I don't know what it is.  It's like this in the winter too when we have really bad storms.  When the power shuts off it's like people switch on their good sides.

When the chips are really down people tend to come together and help each other. I still have some faith in humanity. Thanks to kind-hearted , thoughtful people like you, Pinks.

So many people are in these situations lately.
When my health was poor and I was out of work for 3 months it hurt us, even though I am not the main breadwinner. When you think of the rising cost of just basically living, not even entertainment extras, it is very hard to make ends meet these days. Water goes up, electric/gas skyrockets, food prices soar with the cost of gas increasing. It's taking it's toll on us all. People who once lived comfortably are reconsidering their spending levels. Vacations are getting too expensive. You can't afford the gas or food. Many people were ripped off with the ARM loans and now have home payments double what they once were.
You can't get blood from a turnip, but they sure are draining the life blood from many innocent Americans.
I hope she finds something. I wish I could help her. She may end up having to try and sell her Lake Geneva home and move to a more affordable area. The question is will they have money left after a sale and will the house even sell. The housing and car markets are at a stand still. No one can afford to take on another loan.

There are plenty of scams as well as gullible people on the internet.

Why the heck should this woman be looking for employment when she is the one handicapped???..She has a man and not many people are going to take sympathy on a situation like that...Sometimes it takes 3 minimum wage jobs and setting aside pride to pay bills, but I it sounds like this jerk must not love his bride. A health history isn't requested on employ

employment applications, so I fail to see how this be causing problems gaining employment.

For those of you trying to reference the comment with the woman's ad in question, this was deleted. It is all right to post your own e-mail at your own risk. However, posting other people's e-mail is something we will discourage.

Thanks for your understanding.

There are a lot of problems in the world, and if I'm the one to change them . . . I've got God on my side and I'm up to the challenge!
