Are you related to someone semi-famous/famous?

If so, who and how are you related to them?

I'll start. It's not a great one, but it's a start.

The town of Rosholt, WI is named after an ancestor on my mom's side of the family:

J. G. Rosholt

He was the founder and first president/mayor of the town. I'm working on my family tree and faven't figured out how he is realted yet, but my great grandmother told me that the town was named for a relative of hers.

curious...anyone going to buy Vera Wang items from Kohl's?

I know it is not her top of the line stuff, but does that really matter?

I've bought clothes by Issac from Target and loved them.

It is good fashion for a lower price. Why pay for overpriced items. What really makes the expensive items cost so much more? I have better things to spend my other money on than an $800 dress...like bills & charities :) Give me the $50 one!

I was reading some blogs about kids now-a-days (baggy pants, etc).

It brought up something that may have become my new pet peeve...and it is not just those young teens who are guilty of it. I have noticed this with people from about age 40 and younger.

When did it become good customer care to conduct a transction with the customer while having totally non-work related conversations with another worker or acquaintance?

How would you deal with that person as a customer without going down to their level?

I'm guessing employers are not telling or getting across to their employees about how rude this is. Personal conversations should be done outside the workplace or when it doesn't interfere with a customer or your job.

What is your input on this? Are you guilty of this...if so why?

I was watching and rooting for the Brewers tonight and SOOO happy when they won. Then I listened for the Cubs score and found out they won too :(

Why can't the Cubs lose now? Go Brewers Go!

Do you think the Brewers will pull it off? I'm hoping so.
