Fantasia On American Idol

Was it me or was Fantasia's performance on American Idol last night ridiculous?  Between the hair, the screeching that was supposed to be singing?? and her dancing, and watching Simons face was priceless.  There are so many wonderful past Idols that would have really come out and sang something nice, I don't know, maybe I expect too much....

Looked like Simon wanted to say something but he held back - for once. Wish I was a fly on the wall, when this was all over, to hear what he had to say! Funny I thought the same thing. This was a winner? Heck Jeremy Ross could do better. Sorry JR just needed a name from the Fox6 staff.

ROFL ROFL I rewound that about 5 times last night just to see Simon's face. At first I wasn't sure if he thought she was great or the opposite until I actually watched her performance. Quite the joke!
What ever happened to most of the past winners? Reuben? Taylor? The only one that I see that has really made it is Carrie Underwood.
David Cook better take it! Love him!

I LOVE The look on Simon's face. The most priceless moment of this whole "dull" season.

Why is it Fantasia is always the one who comes back? Wasn't she on the show like a gazillion times this year and last year? Doesn't any other past winner want to come back?

Ruben?
Kelly? (Picklar, Locke, Clarkson)
Chris?

Anyone but Fantasia? I never really liked her. that was probably the second season besides this season I found to be rather dull and cliche'. That's just me tho.

Actually I think the ones who came in second and third are doing better than all the winners with exception to Carrie Underwood. I love Pickler, Daughtry and most of the ones who DIDN'T win.

Tru Tru. Daughtry I think is the best, tho I'm still a Claymate if he'd ever do anything again! lol. (My mommy's a claymate too. hehehe saw him in Appleton a few years go. Good concert.)

My mom likes Pickler. She's ok to me, but I like Underwood better. I even like Bucky. didn't like him in the show (Never could understand him. Always sounded like he had marbles in his mouth) but his songs are pretty good. lets not forget Sanjaya. He performed a no charge Bat mitzvah this year. (LOL)!

but yeah. That look on Simon's face has been all over the news... Foxnews, The View, TMZ, I wonder what he was thinking at that very moment. I would love to have been a fly on the wall after the show when Simon was talking to Randy or Paula about it.

I thought her performance was jaw dropping. It stirred everything up..... It was a good thing, no one expected it.

That was not a good thing. You could barely tell what she was singing and when she attempted the high notes it sounded like a cat getting it's tail stepped on.
The dancing was pretty dang fun to watch. Kind of like someone having a seizure.

We actually turned DOWN the tv........or I should say our 6 y/o did!! She told us the "screaming" was HURTING HER EARS!!!!LOLOLOL

Hey it brought attention to a seemingly predictable show. It prompted someone to write this post and then get 16 comments on it. It also got a rise out of Simon which I will have to agree was priceless. What else could you ask for?
