There is a hymn (song) called "What A Friend We Have In Jesus".  I think to myself, yes I have a friend in Jesus. Well today I realy thought I had a friend here on earth too. Today we were having a family cook out and listening to our music. Well the neighbor's grandsons were driving up their drive way. The music was so blasting high that we couldn't even hear each other talk. I called my friend Angel and asked her to have them turn down the music. No Problem, Right? WRONG! See Angel lives in a side by side town house with her mom on the other side. Her mom and I am friends too. Well just shortly after I called Angel, her mom calls me back and complains to me.  I am so angery at the mother. I have never felt so little as she made me feel today. I told my husband that I will just stay in the house and never comunicate with anyone except Jesus.  (tear drops roll off my face over this mater)    Any sugestions?

Now days, I don't see to many children  that live around me respect their parents.  It's sad too.  I use to get mad at my parents but I would not mouth back when I was growing up.  I did how ever had a big dissagreement with my father and got into a yelling match when I was working with him as an adult.  Regardless of what the yelling was about, I did how ever said that I was sorry for yelling at him, but I was not sorry for how  I felt and beleave of the matter.  Life goes by very fast.  You know, I would hear that my father was in the hospital again, and I just stop going to visit him. See he was a heavy smoker and I hated it. I wanted him to learn that smoking was bad. See, he knew that and on July 3rd 2002 he quite smoking.  Well the damage was already done to his lungs.  I remember my Dad drove  himself up to the hospital on the Tuesday before his death.  By Thursday we were all told Dad was very bad off and the family needed to be up there at the hospital.  I still did not beleave it until the hospital was offering us coffee and danish that it regestered in my head that this was no cry for wolf anymore.  I stayed with my father from that Thursday talking with him.  I stayed the night watching tv and all the sudden he could not talk anymore.  I told Dad it was ok.  The hardest words I ever said was(Dad, it's ok to go to your sisters and God. I thank you for my life.  We will be ok.) Thats when Dad realy was slipping away.  I never left Dad's room unless for his changing etc, than I was just out side the door.  Well on Monday night July 2nd I fell to sleep and for some strange thing, I woke up to see my father take his last breath.(not a pleasent thing to see or hear) He past at 1:08 am July 3rd 2006. I know that I  slipped away from the respect of parents, but life is a  very fast pace. I just have to say, be honest and respectfull to our elders. God knows the truth. My Father leaves behind his mother,sister,wife of 18 years and  seven children (I'm the youngest) and five step children and many many grand children and two great grandchildren.
