Today is a sad day ,the once greatest franchise in pro sports, the Packers, who were so beloved around the world because they were a fan team ,one who put the game and players and fans first not the business side of this boyhood game is gone. I guess it was to be expected with Ted "i'm so better than you" Thompson as the mouthpiece for this destructive new outlook  I always taught the kids to be Packers fans because they were different your behavior on and off the field mattered being accesable to the fans mattered .not any more  After watching a man give everything a man can give to his team for 16 years and be spit on and disrespected the way Packer management did is nothing short of criminal now I will teach the kids that there is no place left in pro sports that put the players and fans first The Packers behavior during this has assured that Thompson will be known forever as the man who destroyed the Packers mystique. If someone only had the guts to say wrong is wrong instead of oh its just a business decision pro sports would be an example for our children instead the Packers have showed the world  that even in the city of Green Bay loyalty and dedication will get you screwed everytime. What a great lesson for our youngsters to learn
