Well we have started down the road of teaching our oldest daughter how to drive.

She has taken her classes and obtained her learners permit. She is very eager to learn and more importantly follow the rules of the road.

When she is driving the SPEED LIMIT people are honking at her, flashing their lights and flipping her off! This is outrageous. The sign says 30 and thats what she does and people are hostile.

Does anyone know of a sign that can be put in the rear window of our auto that lets the jerks on the road know that a Junior Operator is behind the wheel and they might want to cut them some slack?

guggipatricus,

What a nice parent...you care. It's hard to let your kids learn life's lessons huh?

But, remind your child for me that the "Junior Operators" license stuff is real. Our son greg lost his license for doing only a few mphs over on a rural road in southern NH...

Maybe the postive lesson for you daughter is "See...you're a better person than they are. Be proud."

I'd be proud of her...

I want to say... there is nothing wrong with her driving the speed limit because soo many teens get killed today by speeding... so dont tell her she has to go faster.
But if you really want to embarrass her(?) you can just make a sign that says like new driver or just got my permit or somthing to let ignorant people know that there is a new and inexperienced driver behind the wheel

that way they arent so rude to ther

August, sweet August with your purple heather on the marsh and your multicolored sunsets. Why can't it be August all year round?
