Milwaukee has a problem.  They do not know what to do with all the snow that fell this week. Let's help them out.  Anybody have any ideas what we can do with all that snow?

Why dont they put it on the rocks by Lake Michigan? it would allow the snow to melt, bringing the level of the lake up when we finally warm up, it will be messy over there until then but it would solve at least some of the problems I would think.

dbinracine - The news last night reported that they are putting the snow somewhere in a parking lot by the lake. I'm thinking the Summerfest grounds.

Also they should take the people that are serving time in the House Of Corrections and bring them out to all the bus stops & corners and have them shovel out the snow!

I guess I am wondering if they put it by the lake or in the lake? I heard that about the summerfest area, but am not up there to see if it is on the rocks or not, I would think if it is on the rocks ie in the lake it would mean more room... can they even get to the lake? I dont know.. not up there :-) just know that the DNR was saying the lake is low, and getting lower, it should help with that problem if it is put in the lake.

I say we haul it in trucks to Illinois and dump it on their football field...sorry, just a thought.

I was just thinking...suppose we haul it to the US-Mexican border. Do you suppose the Rio Grande would get deeper?

How about a county-wide snow sculpture contest?

Snow forts for those who have to wait for city buses?

hey I was watching the Nat geo channel couple nights ago they were talking about Sun spots and the NATURAL cycle, I think it was every 11 years or so, I guess there are few spots, thats when it is colder here, when there are more sun spots it is warmer. Was really interesting also explains ALOT about Global WARM OR COOLING.

This could just be natural, yes we are adding to it, but not so much as they claim I think.

If they cant PREDICT weather for more than a week out acuratly then why would we believe they really know what is going on with global warming, there are a LOT of science out there that says this is normal.

I would like to be able to say that I am a suburban dweller working 40 hours a week with an SUV and 2.2 children and I have spare time in which I golf. However, none of that is true. I would just LIKE to say that. So I did.
