I just talked to a friend of mine this evening.
She recently had surgery that left her with a disability. She has a blue and white handicap parking card in her car. She had parked her car in a handicapped parking space at her apartment complex when she came home from work.
As she was leaving her apartment a little later, she found a threatening, hand-scrawled note under her door from the management of her complex threatening to tow her car if she parked in the handicapped designated spot again. (!!)
My question is this: What is with the management of this complex? Are they really as clueless as they seem?
Has anyone else had a problem like this?
How can we educate people so that this scenario does not happen again?

I would like to be able to say that I am a suburban dweller working 40 hours a week with an SUV and 2.2 children and I have spare time in which I golf. However, none of that is true. I would just LIKE to say that. So I did.
