Do you think this very warm October weather has anything to do with global warming?

NO!!!!This warm October weather has NOTHING to do with Global Warming! Get this garbage off of here :) Come back to me when you are shivering in January. Be careful what you wish for...most seasons since the year 2000, we've seen a sharp, cold blasts in October and November, essentially "using up" all the cold air. That has not happened yet, and while I see cooler, seasonable (50s) air to follow, no major chills. Be VERY careful what you wish for!

I have never heard of this problem. HMMMMMM must have something to do with the color. My best guess is the cable is stretched or broke. You can pull off the right cover and manually pull the clip back. Or I think a 1/4 stick of you know what will really fix it good!!

Please ignore the above, Was for another blog. About the global warming issue though, There is no such thing as global warming. The globe is actually cooling. The Earth loses a measurable amount of heat each day. As the core of the Earth is spinning in the mandrel, heat escapes to the surface then heats the atmosphere. Now if the question were to attribute the warm month to atmospheric warming well then I would agree. But global warming? Is not happening folks. It should be called global cooling. Just a side note. If you were to reverse the amount heat that the earth is known to be losing back 15 billion years, as some people would like you to believe that would be the age of the planet, we would be standing on a lump of coal by now.

No. But if there is such a thing as Global Warming (which there's not), bring it on. I'm okay with sacrificing a few polar bears (since they hunt humans, you know) if it means that I can play golf in Michigan in January....

It's refreshing to see that not everyone is brainwashed about global warming.

Tall-Way to plug the Indian Summer! LOL. I can remember a December a few years back when the temps for two days in a row were mid 60's. People were golfing weeks before Christmas! But global warming? Not. Mother Nature as all Michiganders know can be both loving & vicious here. I can also remember brutal winters where the sidewalks were ice and the blizzards roared. Trust me, this won't last so enjoy it!
