Has anyone been to the Walmart on south 27th street near Oklahoma?  I was this past weekend and I must say I will never visit that store again.  The garbage in the parking lot alone was enough to make you sick.  The seagulls were having a field day with all that trash.  The trash containers near the entrance were overflowing and garbage was just blowing out of there.  You couldn't even walk without getting hit by flying garbage.  There is a cyclone fence north of the building that was piled halfway up with trash.  What a disgusting store.  The inside was also dirty and very disorganized.  I've emailed them and their reply was that the because of the nature of my email, they had to forward it on to another department.  We'll see what happens.  I just wanted to vent and say what a disgusting store that is.  They ought to shut it down until they clean up their act, but then I'm afraid all the riff raff will come out to my store.  Fox 6, you should take your cameras out there and show what a mess that place is.  Maybe then something would be done.

Amen! That store should be cited for the litter in the lot. I'm not saying it's their fault the people who frequent that store are pigs, but they should be made to keep the grounds clean! I go elsewhere because the store is such a mess.

There's a right way and a wrong way to submit a story idea to FOX 6. You can either call our assignment desk at 414-586-2166 or emails them at fox6news@foxtv.com . That's only if you're serious about getting some action on this.

I went that way about 5-6 years ago because I'm embarrassed to say I was looking for Southgate shopping center. I hadn't been down that way in so many years and to my surprise it was GONE! There was a Walmart. I went in and was out within 10 minutes because it was so disgusting. I didn't even buy anything.
Come back Southgate!!!!

No, because when I went in the place and tried to find what I was looking for and was just too disgusted with the whole thing and left. Is I mentioned, I emailed them and they replied that they are forwarding my email to the right person. We'll see what happens and I'll let you all know.

The proper authority to report this to would be Neighborhood Services down at city hall. 286-CITY

That would constitute work for them and its obvious that they're not big on that in their store. Just goes to show you how much they appreciate their neighborhood...

I was just at that walmart and the garbage wasn't that bad. it's the shoppers for one and you can tell that people who litter don't have any self pride of respect for themselves. Two, the seagals, thats nature and you can't do anything about that. It would be like telling you that you can't fart! It's life.

Racine location on Durand Ave (Hwy 11) has a very clean store, but the restroom are gross. I went in the restroom there and I ended up vomiting there. I realy complained to the customer dept. I love to go and shop at walmart in the middle of the night when there is no one there except the stockers. If you don't mind walking around boxes, then this is for you.

Well Radientblue, seagulls only hang around when there is garbage and something to eat. It's a known fact. I don't have any in my neighborhood because it's clean and the residents take pride in their neighborhood. As for the garbage not being that bad at Walmart, then maybe someone else complained and they did something about it between the time I was there and the time you were there because when I was there, it was disgusting. I wouldn't even dare walk into their bathroom either. I'll quit complaining about it and just continue to go to my store that is in a better area. I only went to this one because I couldn't find what I was looking for at the other ones.

I just shop at the Walmart down the street in Franklin, but the problem is the people who shop. They don't care. They let their kids play with everything and leave thing lay around wherever they feel like. The litter, and even if there was someone in the parking lot picking up the garbage, that would be a full time job. I think that the best solution for at least the outside part is to start tickiting the people who do litter and hold THEM accountable. In Franklin, there is a police substation in the store, so maybe that is what makes it a bit better.

Yes, I agree that Wal-Mart is a blight. I am surpirsed that the company allows that store to operate without a major overhaul and cleaning. But look at the people who shop there. EEEEEEEEEuuuuuuuuuuuuuwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

You know there is an 800 number you can call. But you can also just go a bit further south down that very street and there is a cleaner walmart there. Plus the people who work there are pretty decent. I shop there so much that when I walk in, they always know to say hi to me or will tell me if my mom has been in or not. She lives at walmart.

The Walmart in Mukwonago is where I shop and I must say I'm proud to shop there. It's very, very clean and I've yet to see any problems at all. I love the Super Center idea but I have to be careful because I then to spend a bit more than needed.

I love to Golf (not very good, but working on it). I love animals. I have cats, a bird and a dog. I'm 40ish, but look 28 (ha ha). I love thrift stores and can spend 2 hours in a grocery store. Most people don't like to grocery shop, but I use coupons and check the isles for all the good deals.
