I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the greedy people who buy season tickets and sell the popular games on eBaY for a huge profit and I am forced to hear cheering when the visiting Cub's get on base.

There are plenty of Brewer fans who wanted to go to the series as well the crowd seemed to be more than 50% red&blue.

Making money is cool and all but not to the extent of selling out your home field advantage.

Even add a statement in the auction about only selling to Brewers fans. That would be kinda funny actually.

WOW ! what a 1st. round he put on in the home run derby tonight. That was the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed in my life. I can't imagine what it was like to be at Yankee stadium for that.

For those of you who don't know Josh Hamilton was a former# 1 draft pick out of high school but after a car accident and drug problems was out of baseball 3 years and one day turned his life around. He leads all of baseball with 95 RBI'S going into the all-star break.

but tonight he hit 28 Home runs ( a record )in the first round in the home run derby at Yankee stadium the most remarkable performance I have ever seen.

More amazing was the 71 year old pitcher throwing to him Clay Counsill who threw close to 100 pitches who has been throwing to Josh since legion ball.

Why isn't   there a movie about this talented outfielder ?

I thought he looked sharp..we had a a 5-0 lead and he pitched a 3 up 3 down 8th....

Why didn't Ned Yost allow him to build his confidence up a little and let him pitch the 9th as well. He instead opted to use 3 different pitchers and wear his every day closer Torres down even more for a very dissapointing loss.

I seen a gal wearing this at the game the other day..and found the same shirt on eBaY

They are using a pun on that Fukudome guy.

I googled Gabe Kapler and found some images with his shirt off , he has a very impressive physique.

Why isn't this guy starting ?

and JJ Hardy look out , the ladies have new piece of meat to go drool over at Miller Park

If I were Ned Yost this is what my lineup would look like.

1. Corey Hart , CF
2. Russell Branyon , 3B
3. Joe Dillon ,1B
4. Ryan Braun , LF
5. Gabe Kapler , RF
6. J.J. Hardy , SS
7. Craig Counsell , 2B
8. Jason Kendall , C
9. Pitcher's spot

This leaves some good , but inconsistent Bat's on the Bench as well

Jason Kendall and Gabe Kapler are huge cogs in the brewers success so far this season...They may not make a whole lot of money by MLB standards but the effect their experience will have on the team is priceless.

my only regret is that MLB doesn't have 4 outfielders  , cuz it is safe to say  Kapler will be on the bench when Cameron returns , both stand up guys from what I hear

on a side not I am impressed with another new brewer Eric Gagne' yes he blew a couple saves but we ultimately got the Win. it is all apart of the pitcher catcher learning curve which by the last two outings it seems they are meshing well Gagne' didn't shake off Kendall to often.

now I hope Prince and Ryan can " start seeing the ball better" that is MLB talk for knocking the cover off the ball...you just have to see it better first.

I am already making myself ready for the fact that this will probably be Prince Fielder's last season as a Brewer. With him being due for a big payday after this season and his agent is a kind of a prick , I doubt Prince will be a brewer next season.

with that being said The Brewer's don't necessarily need the "big guy".

*we got LaPorta , a up and coming prospect who can play first base or outfield along with     Corey hart and Joe Dillion.

*Prince looks a lot softer this spring  too

*the money Prince would demand would be better spent on Ryan Braun in my opinion.

I would love to see Prince as a Brewer in 09 but , I am just mentally preparing for a post Prince Brewer team that will do just fine either way.

I am starting to get a little worried because vegetarian diets do not have the proper amino acid combinations for optimum performance.

Vegetarians do not have certain amino acids in their diets, such as Lysine, which is found in eggs and poultry products.  A deficiency in even one amino acid will cause a biochemical imbalance creating health problems, and the amino acid(s) should be replaced for good physical and mental health.

I went on a vegetarian diet for one week on a challenge from a vegan friend of mine...by the 3rd day I craved meat like a smoker craves nicotine. When the week was over I had sausage & eggs for breakfast , 2 dbl. cheeseburgers for lunch and a nice juicy steak for supper about 2 hours after dinner I lifted weights and that is the strongest I have ever felt in my life....the next day my muscle's were full and hard too...When people asked what I was on, I answered simply MEAT.

Prince is a big guy regardless of his new diet but If he continues this all season My money is on Braun hitting more Homers than Prince.

So for the Brewers sake I hope Prince eats a steak before opening day.

aside from being a great fielder and a excellent hitter.

he brings a lot of female fans to the ball park. anyone who has gone to a brewers game at home in the past few years have must have taken notice at which players jersey or T-shirt  75% of the ladies are wearing #7 J.J. Hardy . The brewers must make 3 million alone right there. The Hebrew Hammer Ryan Braun is also popular with the ladies but J.J. is still #1.
when J.J. is up to bat the woman go nuts and they say some things about what they would like to do to him that would make a sailer blush.

so Doug Melvin do the right thing and give J.J. what he deserves or there will be a lot of Pissed off ladies in the Milwaukee area.

so the packers lost today..look at the bright side the Patriots will Probably win the whole thing...and now I can root for it to happen in good faith because the won't be facing my home team..and this is the first time in my lifetime an undefeated team made it to the super bowl..and I for one would like to see history happen , 19-0 has never been done before.

Plus there is the NFC curse...no NFC team that has lost the super bowl made it to the playoffs the following year.

so hall of fame inductions came and went and for the second straight time Big Mac got snubbed from Coopers town. I can see not getting in his first time to send a message but C'mon he is one of the best power hitter's ever...even his rookie a year a tall skinny McGwire smashed 49 homers so obviously even if he did take the juice it didn't help hit the long ball much anyway.

was McGwire a cheater ? maybe but is a hell of a nicer guy than Barry Bonds and in McGwire playing dy there was no steroid policy to speak of really. So if he was on the sauce his competition was too making it a level playing field anyway.

I think that mithcell list that came last month , right before hall of fame voting didn't help much either...coincidence ? I am not sure What I am sure of is that McGwire deserves a place in the hall.

on a side note steroids have been around almost 60 years so who's to say players in the 50's and 60's never used steroids , maybe they just stuck to guy code better back then and weren't a bunch of tattle tales.

who would win.
if it were possible for the 2007 team to go back in time to 1967

I am saying any 07 team would beat the any 67 team...players are bigger, stronger , faster, and have the added benefit of trainers on the sideline...I got into a debate today at work and I seemed to be the only one who thought the 07 team would beat the 67 team hands down.

please tell me I am not alone in my rational.

Today the complete list of names was made available to the public. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=ys-mitchellnames
121307&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

The list includes All-stars , mediocre players and a alot of names of people I never heard of.

Do steroids help you hit better ?
Do steroids help throw a better curve ball ?
Do steroids make you a better fielder ?

I am pretty sure they don't they just help the muscle recover faster from he rigors of a 162 game season. I f Jose' Canseco book was true 75% percent of the guys were on them meaning 75% had the same advantage so I wouldn't exactly call it cheating if your competition is doing it also.

I think they are blowing this out of proportion , I can remember back to the 98 season the home run chase between McGwire  and Sosa that saved baseball...both players who are rumored to have used steroids. So it is possible that steroids saved Baseball ?

on a side note when I watch a baseball game I want to see towering home runs. ( or a no hitter) . I enjoyed baseball more when the media turned a blind eye to the steroid issue , maybe it was better that way...I think they should either drug test everybody every two weeks...or turn a blind eye on it and let the fans enjoy baseball again with out all the drama.

Watching Grossman performance the last few games his renegade on field attitude and his 2 final  minute aggressiveness is very reminiscent of a young Brett Favre...he also showed he has a gun even against the strong Chicago wind.

http://www.squibkick.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/09/rex-grossman-sports-yahoo-com.jpg

when Favre retires would Grossman be a suitable replacement, and if he does one day become a packer would you wear his new jersey with pride ?
