!!!!!!!  what a show oil can harry put on tonight!  the band did a heck of a job tonight.  they got started late because there was an arm wrestling thing going on in back of the tent.  getting back to oil can harry, they played a hell of great songs.  that tent was so packed.  that band has a huge following.  how many of you bloggers went to see them perform at the eden firemens picnic?  i hope that they come back next year to play.  i hope we get a ton of bloggers on this site to come out to the eden area and enjoy that band next year.  that would be a hell of a time.  after my mother took me and a freind of mine home from there, i stood outside and listened to the music from the deck just outside my house in the front.  let me tell you bloggers that my deck was shaking right under me.  i love listening to bands from my house when they play at the park.  i live for that every single year.  hopefully we can get all of us bloggers out there and have a great time.  for the shows that they do, go to their website at www.oilcan.net and bookmark that.    oil can harry sure knows how to rock a firemens picnic like they do.  that is for sure.  we need to get the people from the station up here and they will have a great time up here in eden at the picnic.

hi my sweet bloggers!  last night at the eden picnic, the rock band uncle whiskey breath too the stage.  they put on a really great show last night.  if they come back to the eden firemens picnic next year, i suggest all of you bloggers come out and see them next year(that is if they come back).  you would love to see them perform.  i got home early last night and finished listening to them from my house.  that band really knows how to rock a firemens picnic in a small town.  i know of one blogger who would loved to see them in person---------------that is classicrockguy.  those guys are so good to listen to.

how many of you bloggers have seen oil can harry perform at a fair in your area?  well i have some good news.  they will be rocking the eden firemen's picnic again this year.  the date is august 2nd which is a saturday this year.   if you want to see them, come up here and have some fun.

www.1280wnam.com  AM 1280 WNAM IS OUT OF NORTHEAST WISCONSIN THAT PLAYS GOOD MUSIC.  IF YOU LIKE SINATRA, DEAN MARTIN, PATTY PAIGE, AND OTHERS, THIS STATION IS FOR YOU.  THEY HAVE A LISTEN LIVE ICON ON THEIR MAIN PAGE.  THIS STATION HAS WEATHER FROM WBAY CHANNEL 2 OUT OF GREEN BAY.

WWW.1039WVBO.COM  103.9 WVBO IS ALSO OUT OF NORTHEASTERN WISCONSIN.  IF YOU LIKE THE OLDIES FROM THE 60s & 70s, THIS STATION IS FOR YOU.  THEY PLAY A TON OF GOOD OLIDES FROM THAT ERA.  I LISTEN TO THAT ONCE IN A WHILE.  THEY PLAY ARTISTS LIKE THE RIGHTEOUS BROTHERS, SEALS AND CROFTS,  STEVE MILLER BAND AND OTHERS.  THIS STATION ALSO HAS WEATHER FROM WBAY CHANNEL 2 OUT OF GREEN BAY.  THE LISTEN LIVE IS ON THEIR MAIN PAGE.

since most of you bloggers live in the milwaukee area, you may want to give those sites a try.  maybe your families and parents will like those sites as well.

has any of you bloggers ever heard the music by dan fogelberg?  if you love his music like i do, we are mourning a great singer's death from the 70s era of music.my thoughts and prayers go out to dan fogelberg's family and fans.  dan fogelberg was only 56 when he passed away yesterday..  i love all of dan fogelberg's music.  songs including: LEADER OF THE BAND, SAME OLE ANG ZYNE, SCARECROWS DREAM, HEART HOTELS, LONGER, and others.  what are some of your favorite dan fogelberg songs?  dan fogelberg died of cancer.  a time ago, i was listening to WMDC 98.7 THE GREAT 98 out of mayville and they did an interview with dan fogelberg since he performed in madison a while back.  i think it was 2002 but not sure though.  i tell you, he was a great singer from the 70s.

www.wglx.com  that is a station from the wisconsin rapids area.  that station plays classic rock and heavy metal.  when  i travel to fond du lac, i usually try to get that station in while in the car.  i can sometimes pick up that station in the house as well.  when i lived in campbellsport, i could pick that station up clear as a bell once in a while in the bathroom and in the garage. frequency # 103.3

www.z104rocks.com  that is a radio station from the wausau area that also plays great music.  they have a feature thursday afternoons from 2-6 called rock like a pig.  you can only get that station when you are near waupaca.  frequency # 104.1

www.961tcx.com  rocking hits of the 80s and more.  that station out of fond du lac plays really good rock music.

www.wapl.com  that station out of green bay plays a ton of great music as well.  around a certain time in the afternoon, they play a live concert tune. frequency # 105.7

www.wozz.com  they play great music from new london, located in waupaca county.  they also play some great stuff as well. frequency # 93.5

www.wrlo.com  form antigo.  that station plays great music along with the other channels.  when i am working outside, i put the antenna a certain way and then i can pick up the station from the back yard.  once in a while, i will turn it on in the car.  when i used to live in campbellsport, instead of picking up the fish out of milwaukee, i can pick up the antigo station in the kitchen every single day sometimes clear as a bell. frequency # 105.3

www.wibafm.com  home of badger football out of madison.  they play classic rock and heavy metal too.  great rock station. frequency # 101.5

www.wjjo.com  another good madison station.  they sponsor a stage at the taste of madison every year. frequency # 94.1

www.wklh.com great station as well.  cannot pick them up ijn the house here in eden. frequency # 96.5

www.theclassicrockexperience.com  that website is for a station also in north central wisconsin called WCCN.  they play good classic rock and heavy metal as well.  frequency # 107.5

how many of you listen to 96.1 WTCX out of fond du lac?  there is a good dj on in the afternoons monday thru saturday from 3p-8p.  his name is jake bohlman.  he calls himself snake on the radio on tcx.  on his program, he has the cassette cut collection, the 4:20 feature, and the drive at five.  the drive at five is where you request what songs from the rocking 80s and more you want to hear.  fridays at five is hair metal friday during that time.  you can either e-mail him or call the studio to request a song.  you are not going to believe this: friday night around 4:57, i e-mailed the dj at WTCX and requested a song for the drive at five.  i requested that they play a song from dokken(and which they did) the song i requested was alone again by dokken.  they played that song just 8 minutes after i sent in the e-mail.  talk about how lucky can you get.  i was just grinning from ear to ear.  any bloggers in the WTCX listening area ever listen to jake the snake bohlman?   their website is www.961tcx.com.  check out that website.  remember it is www.961tcx.com.  jake bohlman really gets your afternoons going with some good rock music.  i listen to him every single day. 

if you like rock music, there is a good site to watch music videos.  the band that i am talking about is the band DOKKEN.  here are some of the videos that i watched:

if you like dokken's music, then watch those videos that i listed above.  they are great to watch if you are a heavy headbanger.  i want to know what you think.

i know that you all down in the milwaukee area don't get this station out of fond du lac.  i am actually right now listening to 96.1 WTCX out of fond du lac.  they play the rockin' hits of the 80s and more.  this is a really good station.  check out their website at www.961tcx.com.  i tell you that they play some great rock on that station.  the ymca in fond du lac even plays this station in one of the weight rooms.  give them a shot for those who live in washington county and fond du lac county?  i want to know what you think of this station.  i do not know if this station has a listen live feature on the website or not.  if you like rock music like i do, you will love this station out of fond du lac.  i guarentee it.
