     Good morning.

It's 1:40 in the morning on Monday.  We've all been going around here for a dozen hours or so.

But I can't unwind, what with thoughts of an incredible Sunday on my mind.

     So why not share them?!

Brett Favre said he didn't want to be a distraction, but he became one on Sunday-however unwittingly.

By flying into town with the blessing of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, number four took a lot of juice out of the Packers' Family Night scrimmage.

The weather delay up there didn't help!

Imagine Brett and Deanna sitting in the Favre box, watching Family Night?!

So, as I write this blog, Brett Lorenzo Favre has forced the Pack into a corner.

Word is-he'll be on the practice field Tuesday, following Monday's physical, conditioning and meetings--OFFICIALLY UN-RETIRED!.

     Open competition?

That's what GM Ted Thompson and Head Coach Mike McCarthy "SAY" is going to happen for the starting nod at quarterback.

But they've promised the job to Aaron Rodgers.

The Commish will be monitoring the situation closely to make sure there's no nonsense going down..

     Credibility's at stake.

Don't be shocked if Green Bay trys to work a trade.

Otherwise, the circus will never end!

Credibility at stake. Whose? Management has repeatedly said Rodgers is the starter - now it's an open competition - so much for their credibility. His holiness (Brett Lorenzo Favre) has retired, maybe unretired, stayed retired, and now unretired - that's credibility? The commissioner sticks his nose in places it doesn't belong and tells everyone to play nice in the sandbox - he's real credible. And then there's the credibility of the media - supposedly impartial - ya right. Just release the guy - the organization doesn't feel he "has it" anymore so why be concerned where he may go.

The NFL has already shown which way they want to go. They have no credibility. Favre should have to stay retired until his contract is up then let him go anywhere he wants. Not just give in and give him his own way. That is like a child running to grandma because mom will not let him have his way and grandma undermining mom.
