On a national scale, the U.S. Bank Championship doesn't get much love.

It's been bounced around more than one of Pipines errant tee shots, banging off a bunch of trees!

But every year, the tournament run so well by director Dan Croak and his staff-along with countless volunteers-survives, and thrives.

There's thousands and thousands of dollars for local charities-and some awesome golf.

Sure, the biggest names were at the British Open this past week, but Sunday's finish was terrific.

Here's Sweden's Richard S. Johnson-winner of less than 50 grand, 221st on the money list, winning his first PGA Tour event, and pocketing 720 grand in the process.

It may not be a major; but the U.S. Bak Championship is all Wisconsin.

Here's hoping the 41 year old tourney goes on for years to come.

To asll who make it possible, "you da men, and women"!
