On a national scale, the U.S. Bank Championship doesn't get much love.
It's been bounced around more than one of Pipines errant tee shots, banging off a bunch of trees!
But every year, the tournament run so well by director Dan Croak and his staff-along with countless volunteers-survives, and thrives.
There's thousands and thousands of dollars for local charities-and some awesome golf.
Sure, the biggest names were at the British Open this past week, but Sunday's finish was terrific.
Here's Sweden's Richard S. Johnson-winner of less than 50 grand, 221st on the money list, winning his first PGA Tour event, and pocketing 720 grand in the process.
It may not be a major; but the U.S. Bak Championship is all Wisconsin.
Here's hoping the 41 year old tourney goes on for years to come.
