It seems that Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers may have alienated more than a few fans with his remarks in this week's Sports Illustrated.

"I DON'T FEEL I NEED TO SELL MYSELF TO THE FANS", he said.

"THEY NEED TO GET ON BOARD NOW OR KEEP THEIR MOUTHS SHUT."

That's not gonna win number twelve any popularity votes-esepcially considering he's following a legend.

Look, I'm as big a Brett Favre fan as there is, but you can understand if Rodgers has had it up to here with Number Four, and the possibility that he'll be back.

The ultra-confident Rodgers is trying to say that it's his show now, and Packers fans need to get on board.

I get his message; Aaron just has to be careful about  "aaring" out his innermost thoughts.

A few humble comments, and a bunch of td passes will help toward winning any fans back who feel put off by the unfortunate comments made to S.I.

As the writer said, "Legendary quarterbacks never go away, even when they go away".

You know, that was an incredibly arrogant statement from a guy who happened to be at the right place at the right time.

Give Aaron Rodgers a break. Favre also happened to be in the right place at the right time. What would happen if Majkowski had not gone down? Farve is a great quarterback but not a saint. Time for the new blood.
