There's this book out called "The Secret" which I haven't read and don't really plan to but the premise is positive thoughts can produce positive results. (Duh)

But I thought, let's give it a try with our Milwaukee Brewers. Since the Opening Day win against the Dodgers, I have been saying, "THAT'S why we're going to the World Series."

I say it two to four times a game. You don't want to overdo it but don't undersell it either.

I said it a lot last night when I was at the game. JJ goes deep in the whole to rob a single..."THAT'S why we're going to the World Series"....Prince hits two home runs on Sunday ..."THAT'S why we're going to the World Series".

So say it often and say it proud....and if you say it enough ...well maybe "THATS why we're going to the World Series."

I was working last night at the game and I saw a guy go past me and I thought to myself "I think that's Ted Perry". Since now you said you were there, I guess it was you! Also, I believe last year at one of the games I saw you too. Sounds like you go to a lot of games. Those Brewers... what can I say?! This'll be their lucky year!

Could have been me, I was there. Next time say hello. Unless of course I'm running to the bathroom with my hand over my mouth. Sometimes the brats get to me.

This is the second post I noticed in recent months regarding that book. Normally I don't care to read books, due to lack of time, but this one has my curiosity peaked. I just may pick up a copy of it to read while sunbathing and see if there's any real value to it.

(Meanwhile, I'll be doing some of my own chanting for the Brewers.)

Hey Ted, thanks for your support of our Brewers. Unfortunately I haven't been to a game this season, but I've got two little ones and taking a family of four to a ballgame can get pretty costly, as you probably know. However, we'll be going to a game thru my wife's work at the beginning of mext month, and I'm planning on using your line a few times while I'm there.

BTW, say hello to your buddies Bob and Brian next time you see them. I listen to their show every morning and really enjoy when you're on with them.

Okay Ted, first I have to comment on “the Secret” I agree with your duh, we aren’t talking rocket science to know that positive thoughts probably have a more positive affect on a person’s life then negative thoughts. So let’s think positively about our Brewers up and coming season! So speaking of baseball, it was oh...about six years ago, I was at the Brewer game with family, trying to concentrate on the game and people watch at the same time when I saw you. I was a few rows from first base and I looked over and there was my favorite newscaster sitting a few fans away! :) I took a double take because it was nice seeing outside of my ole' TV. I should also mention that you were pretty darn easy on the eyes too! LOL J So the next time I am at a Brewers game, I will have to think about seeing you in the stands again, so we can share our positive Brewers thoughts over a beer ;-) Take care, happy holidays, and most of all GO BREWERS!
