In one of my many live shots on Brett Favre, I mentioned how every Sunday I could drive or walk down my street, and see almost all my neighbors watching the Packers games.  Ted Perry gave me a hard time saying "Now your neighbors know to close the blinds."  That Ted Perry, such a funny guy!  :)

Now, I don't put my face up against their windows or anything, but maybe it's because I work in TV, I like seeing people's TV's and see what they're watching.  Do you do this?  When you're walking or driving in your neighborhood?  I like seeing 'how other people live.'  So I just didn't want my neighbors to think I was a Peeping Tami or anything!!

A couple of years ago I had a dog that loved to walk so I would take him around the neighborhood. One night (a summer night around 10) we were walking by a house with the curtains wide open and the people inside (teenage boys) were watching adult movies. I kept going but laughed the entire way home.

Oh yeah, I'm also one of those that looks in other people's windows. Just like you I like to see how other's live. I like to see how they decorate and I actually have gotten some good ideas from doing that!

I live in an apartment building, on the 8th floor, so you can't see me Tami.

If these people do not wish to be seen then they should close their drapes anyway. It is a bad idea to advertise what's in your house. Criminals do case neighborhoods to see what people own.

When I take my kids trick or treating, I have looked up in the windows of some of the houses in the neighborhood. And yes, it is a great way to get decorating ideas and maybe if you are planning to build, to see what other people have. But we didn't do that this year, so I missed out.

Sorry - dog jumped on my lap and hit the keyboard.

Anyway my dad and I sort of have a running battle. First thing when he wakes up he opens the living room blinds and the kitchen curtains wide. I will turn the blinds so they are open but keep them over the window and close the curtains. He says I should live in a cave :)

I like to leave my curtains wide open. The fun in this is the look on someone's face when they are looking in and see me glaring back at them!!

I get a kick out of these big fancy mansions that ALWAYS have wide open windows for everyone to peer in...more often than not, they have absolutely NOTHING on their walls! I have often giggled and thought to myself "WWow! Couldn't afford to decorate the mansion?"

I do the same thing (look threw windows). I have to tell you this funny thing I did a few years ago. I lived in a nother area and my next door friends were watching tv. We both had Time Warner Cable. We took our remote over to the out side window and started changing their chanels. They were getting mad. so after a few weeks passed they cought us. We laughed it off. How many of you did that? hahaha

I wrote a book with Brett just before the season started this year. The proceeds of the book is going to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. A great cause. Anyway--Brett and I went all the way back to the time that I recruited Brett out of high school. He talked about his college experiences and even talked about his viewpoints on retiring. The book will bless you when you read it as you get to learn about how Brett's beginning set the tone for his legendary status in the NFL. You can get more information on the book online at: www.markmchalefootball.com
