Mine is the playoff game this year at Lambeau, Green Bay against Seattle, the snow was flying, the crowd and players were going crazy... the Packers were around the 20 yard line... Favre nearly gets sacked... he stumbled, throwing the ball at the same time, and the Packers get the first down!  It was a classic Lambeau moment and classic Favre moment, I'm so glad that I was able to be there to see it!

Let's hear yours...

My favorite Favre moment was the Monday Night game against the Oakland Raiders. Where with a heavy heart from the sudden death of his father he put on the defining performance of his career, passing for 399 yards and scoring 4 TD's in the first half. This game humanized Brett and made him all the more special. Thank you Brett for all the Memories. Brett Favre fan 4 life.

I have to agree, my favorite memory is when he played the game after his father's death.
Also the game when he received a concussion and didn't tell the coach, went back in and threw a touchdown and then didn't even remember throwing it.
There are so many memories it's hard to pick just one!!!
Now, if I could just stop crying everytime someone mentions it!!

It's a toss up between the interception vs. the Eagles in the 4th & 26 game and the interception vs. the Giants in this year's NFC championship game. Both are good memories. Now settle down all you diehards - even this anti-Packer person has enjoyed watching him play with his emotional leadership. I wish him and his family long and happy lives after football. The Packers will go on - Denver did after Elway - the 49'ers did after Montana- and on and on. Favre was an important part of the league but the league goes on also.

Geeezzz.....you live up to your name, Skeptical. :)

I am sure we will survive. That's not the point. We grew up with Brett through good and bad. We saw him grow as a man and a player. It's like having a hero retire for many of us. He brought the Packers back to contender status and this year did it with a rookie team. We will survive, no doubt, but it won't be as exciting.
I have a close fan who's a Denver fan and they still worship Elway and talk about the good 'ol days. I am sure we will do the same.
I'm not thrilled with Aaron Rodgers. He's injury prone and kinda woosie. We have a great team right now. I hope we find a QB to fit the talent we have.

I agree with you Katbird - he did have a wonderful career and will always be thought of as a hero by G. Bay fans and as a true competiter and dangerous opponent by fans of other teams. My memories are just different from yours. I also agree it's a wait and see with Rodgers. He sure looked good vs. Dallas this year but the jury is still out on him. I think he will be better than ok but will have to bear the burden of the guy replacing #4 - not an easy task by any means.

If Aaron can stay healthy.
One thing about Brett is he's a REAL man of steel. Nothing kept him out. Not even a broken thumb on his throwing hand nor a concussion.

My favorite memory doesn't have to do with anything on the field. My favorite memory was after Superbowl 31. My Dad and I went up to Green Bay to watch them practice for the pre-season, and I was able to get one of the tickets they hand out for the autograph session afterwards. Luckily for me, Brett was one of the people signing. I handed him my training camp program, and as he signed it, he looked up at me and asked me if i was gonna sell it. I obviously said, no way and laughed. Unfortunately, after I got home, I spilled milk on the program. The program survived, its still readable along with the autographs inside. Its just not worth anything besides sentimental value. Now I just need a job so I can save up some money to replace that autograph with another one..whoops...

Skeptical will never change!!!

My favorite memory of Favre, along with other posts on here, was the performance after his Fathers death. That was truly a tribute to his father and to the resilience that Favre has. He truly will be missed!

My Favorite Memory Is When He Just Took Them All The Way This 07-08 Season and He Breaks All The Rest of The Records. He May Not Have When In The Final Challenge (The NFL Superbowl and Won The BIG Prize), But Bring The Name Title Back in "Titletown" (Green Bay), Wisconsin Gave Him The Ability To Shine One Last Time With The Green & Gold and Winning The Division Championship Is Better Than Not Winning A Championship of Any Sort At All.

WiSportsFan - Why should I change? I'm not a Packer fan (no news there) and the post asked for favorite memories. I gave mine - they just happen to be different than yours and most others in this forum - so what? I cheer like crazy for the Bears and also cheer like crazy for whoever is playing the Pack. It's a rivalry. That doesn't mean I don't respect Brett Favre and what he has done for his team and for the league. I've only been to one game at Lambeau and it happened to be vs. the Bears shortly after Walter Payton died. They had a moment of silence and all the Packer fans I saw were respectful of Payton's memory. They cheered like crazy for the Pack that day - ok with me. They respected Walter just like I respect Favre and his accomplishments. Change - not me. I'm still a Bears fan - always have been and always will be. That doesn't mean I can't wish Favre and his family well in retirement. Great career, Brett. You've been good for the NFL and the Packer-Bear rivalry. Sorry it doesn't meet your (WiSportsFan) view.

my favorite when he on the field having fun and working hard that made feel great.then when he played on the monday night game when his dad pass then he goes to played at oakland when the fans saw him walk on the field with there open harms and cheer him on the field and players work hard for him too.then there is the superbowl that made wisconsin very proud that we are packers fans too.there one game that we cant forget that when brett won his fisrt central division when they played pittsburgh at lambeau favre rolls out and is hit hard steelers defenders forcing the packers call timeout and sending favre to the sidelines coughing up blond,he returns to throw a 1 yard touchdown pass to mark chmura
on next play.the packers 24-19 victory clinches the division title
