I was fortunate enough to attend the Packers Playoff game Saturday against Seattle.  My husband's family has tickets and on Friday they told us they wouldn't be able to go.  Did things go our way or what?!  It was by far the most exciting game I've ever been to, especially at Lambeau.

When you think of a great Packers game, it would have to have several things... Brett Favre, a Packers win and some Wisconsin snow... This game had all that and the crowd was lovin' it!  Of course at first, it was pretty depressing, I thought, this cannot be happening!!  But the Pack didn't let us down... And the throw by Brett when he was almost sacked, then nearly fell and he just tossed it forward-classic Brett.

Now let's pray for a Giants victory so we can do it again!

WOOHOO!!!!
The Giants did it!!!
What a great football day!!

Was this your first Lambeau trip?
I always get choked up when I'm there.
I know...I'm a sap.
That had to be a great game to be at.
I'm glad you had a great time.
Brett sure did!!

Katbird, it was actually not my first Lambeau trip, that's one of the things that struck me was how different the team and crowd felt compared with other games. This year I attended the Oakland game, and for the last four years I've been to maybe one game a year. There was a point after the Packers had scored and we were getting ready to kick off to the Seahawks and I don't remember what song was playing, but all the guys in the Special Teams huddle had their arms around each other and they were just jamming! They'd look to the crowd and wave their arms and the crowd would dance and cheer-just a fantastic night!
