Itchy and Scratchy

OKAY... I've had mild cases of winter itch before but this is RIDICULOUS!

For about a week now my arms and legs are constantly itchy. Some nights I have to knock myself out with Benadryl just to get rid of the torture! I thought there was something wrong with me! Then I discovered a handful of my co-workers are going through the same thing!

My good friend, Bob Moore, eventually explained to me that the dew points plummeted within the past 10 days. With no moisture in the air, our skin is revolting!!! And I'm miserable!!!

Okay. So I know what's causing this. Unfortunately, it doesn't make me feel any better (physically).

Renee, as HARD as it is to do, put creme on your body after you shower - every day!! It doesn't have to be expensive. I noticed a huge difference. Our healthclub has creme and I used and I don't have dry skin...

Give it a try - but do it everyday.

Another thing, I saw this lady on Oprah. She was 70 and looked 50. She said mosturized, mosturize mosturize!!! Every morning and every night she does it and her skin was beautiful...

Bath oil on the skin after the shower, before you dry off. Rub it in and just pat dry. Burt's Bees has some awesome lemon scented. You'll smell like a lemon drop!

Yes! wfbdoglover, it is the key to good looking skin.

jazzbode, I agree Burt's Bees has great products. I have also used SSS right after a shower, it seems to keep the moisture in.

AQUAPHOR....A LITTLE PRICEY BUT A GREAT PRODUCT! SAFE ENOUGH FOR CHILDREN AND INFANTS & IS WONDERFUL FOR DRY SKIN (WHICH CAUSING YOUR WINTER ITCH, ALONG WITH THE COLD DRY AIR!)
