Meeting Les Paul

I didn't have time to blog about it until now, but I actually got to meet Les Paul! At 91 years of age he is still as sharp as a tack and very charming. I can tell he misses his friends deeply, because he has outlived them all. During our interview he got alittle misty-eyed talking about them. He looked around for a tissue. I offered him my sleeve and said if he used it, I could sell it on ebay. He laughed. He's a real legend--still playing in New York every Monday night in a club. Long live the electric guitar-and Les Paul.

Right on Myra, sweet blog.. Les Paul is the man and his guitars are really something else. I'm not sure rock music and the blues would have had the same impact if it was'nt for Les. Long live Les Paul indeed!
