I think that the First  Amendment means nothing

at this point.

Yes what he said was not in good taste but he has the RIGHT  to say it.

Even hate speech is protected.

When will Sharpton & Jackson ask for B.E.T to

African American Television???

With all of the political correctness that is expected these days, there is no freedom of speech left to speak of. They might as well take a big, fat permanent marker and cross it out of the Constitution. You do not have to be arrested or charged to have your rights violated.

You only get to have free speech if certain groups agree with what you say these days. That is where PC came from in the first place.
The first ammendmant will have to be ammended to read (acceptably correct speech that is agreed on by all parties, and it must serve to advance the narrow minded needs of a few people who have the opportunity to become very vocal, and are seeking only to put forward their own issues. these groups will have their needs superceed the general public, and will take precident over the will of the pubic in general. Their rights and speech shall not be questioned, and their behavior shall not be considerded as offensive to anyone.)
