If you really wanted to hear what we had to say, you wouldn't have disabled your comments. Others' postions wouldn't threaten your own.
You, sir, are more than an intellectual coward ... you are a liar. IMO
In the past, you have shown yourself to be better than this. It would behoove you to stop making excuses. If you don't want to allow comments, you don't want to allow comments. Just disable the comments and stop making announcements about feeling bad that you 'had to do it'.
But, to only want the comments you decide are acceptable is insulting to everyone here. How dare you!

Is faith God's domain alone?
If a person believes, supports and has faith in the inherent goodness of others, does their not having been convinced there is an omnipotent deity invalidate/diminish that faith?
Universally Speaking

I realized something while listening to astronomer John Dobson speak in Death Valley last week. We are finite beings for whom the finite concept of God can explain the inexplicable.
I'm not saying that God doesn't exist. It's more a matter of us needing him to exist to justify our own insignificant (in relationship to the vastness of the universe) existence. Here we are, not even specks of dust universally speaking, thinking we are proverbially 'all that and a bag of chips'.
Whether there is a God on Earth or not is irrelevant. We exist ... the universe exists. We have the potential to better our circumstances. Or to turn our beautiful, unique planet into hell for those who inhabit her.
Dust from stars that exploded countless eons ago coats our own moon. We've stepped in it! Why must we limit universal existence to a finite concept?
Quite frankly, I found it wonderous to contemplate the Great Nebula on Orion's Dagger through a 40+ year old Dobsonian telescope ... having been invited to view this by the man, himself.
