What a fun morning this was! Seeing the Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley casts here, the sun shining and people smiling. It brought back some fond memories. I know I have seen every episode many times. My family would sit down and watch these shows religiously. We had pride that these shows were from our hometown. Back in those days you didn't hear about school shootings or metal detectors at schools and airports. It was great watching Gus , a Milwaukee treasure in his own rite, interviewing some of the cast. Henry Winkler seems like such a kind and gentle soul. He must be Fonzie on the inside. I've kept up with most of their careers as time has gone on. I sure miss that show, but it wouldn't work with today's television shows. I have to admit there isn't much new TV I watch at all. I have become hooked on METV. It's great to watch the shows I grew up on and it was so exciting to see some of those great actors here today.
Thanks for coming back home! Thanks to Fox6 for having the interviews. I wish we could have watched the whole festivities. I was hoping we would be able to. It made me regret not going there, but today was school sign-up day here. I hope they all had a great time and have a safe trip home.
