What  weekend! I went to my first Badger game in years! You could spot me in the crowd because I was the only person there wearing red! (Of course the stadium is a fabulous sea of red)

Anyway --- my husband and I returned for homecoming --- an invitation was sent out to band, cheerleader and spirit squad alums --- that's the new term for pom pon girls. We all went out on the field to meet up with other alums from the squad during the 5th quarter --- Did a little jig to the Budweiser song!

I left appreciating my wonderful college experience that much more. Sure I got a good education at Madison, but I was also treated to a great social experience. Especially my years as a "Badgerette". There was always excitement in the air on football saturdays. You could get high on Badger Spirit and still can! Believe it or not --- it was good, clean fun!

A thank you goes out to the organizers of Homecoming weekend. Great job. Had a blast!

Did you know you can find yourself in that sea of red??

All you need is your ticket for your row and seat number..

Thanks for sharing, Julie. I didn't know that you were a Badgerette, but I'm not surprised.

You've got spirit!

Ask TeddyP about his experience on the Badger field! He has quite a history!

You see me talking on television about health topics. It is my worktime passion, driven by the many rewards from viewers who call or write to share their challenges or a thank you for information that might have improved the quality of their life. When I'm not working, I'm hanging with my family, gardening, or having fun with friends. I can honestly say, Milwaukee is my home and I love it here! I'm going on twenty years in the same city and at the same television station. That's a lifetime in the television business! I like all sorts of music. I'm hooked on the show "Damages" and I think I'm addicted to the computer game Spider Solitare. I've been known to say, 'Just one more game and I'll turn off the computer! I just know I can beat my last score!'
