How can they recover --- in the glare of paparazzi? I was checking out at a drug store yesterday and saw the headline, "Goodbye Mommy!" Brit's little boy looked sad. The troubled pop star was crying --- and I thought --- Wow is that rude!

How can stars recover, when flashbulbs are going off in their face at their most personal and vulnerable moments? How messed up will their children be --- after being stalked by cameras when they were little? It's complete overkill. Photographers follow them in the fast-food drive through, going to rehab, grocery shopping, taking a walk. They'd follow them to the bathroom if possible!

Yes, their troubles are overkill too. I'm not defending overindulgences on the part of some young stars. Some might say --- but their rich! I know that. But they're human too. Can't we let them sort through their problems in peace? They are being hounded in their most private and vulnerable moments and it's starting to give me the creeps.

Yes and no aaro. Yes I'm sick of hearing about them but they should have some semblance of privacy. The night Paris Hilton was released from prison I was trying to catch the 3am airing of the O'Reilly Factor only to have it broken in as late breaking news. The most twisted part of it was the Paparazzi running red lights and taking pics at 70mph on the freeway it must have been blinding.

The stars know this is what they have to endure if they're going to live in Hollywierd, so they have only themselves to blame because they stay there. And let's face it, no matter how sad Britney looks, you know she loves the attention.

On the other hand, think about how many privacy loving stars retreat to places far from tinseltown and they and their kids do just fine. Lindsay Lohan made a smart move staying in Utah. It just might be her saving grace.

Love your comments.

You're right --- they can move away from Hollywood and have some privacy.

I hadn't blogged in awhile and I've missed you!

If you think back to other stars that have gone through tough times and divorces not all have had the same media attention. It still comes down to how they lead their lives and what kind of respect they give themselves and then expect from others. Britney's children do not deserve everything their mother is putting them through! If she showed any amount of class and dignity I think the media would treat her with more respect.

You see me talking on television about health topics. It is my worktime passion, driven by the many rewards from viewers who call or write to share their challenges or a thank you for information that might have improved the quality of their life. When I'm not working, I'm hanging with my family, gardening, or having fun with friends. I can honestly say, Milwaukee is my home and I love it here! I'm going on twenty years in the same city and at the same television station. That's a lifetime in the television business! I like all sorts of music. I'm hooked on the show "Damages" and I think I'm addicted to the computer game Spider Solitare. I've been known to say, 'Just one more game and I'll turn off the computer! I just know I can beat my last score!'
