Favre should hang it up??: Give me a Break

I'll make this post short and simple.  If Favre wants to come back, BY ALL MEANS BRING HIM BACK!!!!!  The decision isn't exactly rocket science.  Rodgers right now is probably a very good quarterback.  The team can progress deep into the playoffs with Rodgers at the helm.  However,  he has never proven to be durable for any length of time.  If he plays 75% of his snaps, based on his past record, that would probably be an accomplishment.   The question mark is, who will play the other 25%?   Flynn and Boehm might have potential.  However, both are rookies.  If they see any substantial playing time, both will stink.  And they will stink quite badly. 

Favre, however, is a proven commodity.  We know what he can do.  If this is truly Rodger's team, then let him compete with Favre for the starting spot.  If Rodgers beats out Favre fairly, then he should start.  Favre should be his backup.  What's the harm with a little healthy competition?  Any thoughts...

I would LOVE to see Brett as back-up. The fans would eat it up and Rodgers would feel the lack of love he caused with his words.
Thompson is an idiot if he thinks fans will warm up to Rodgers now. The guy gets one little pull or sprain and he's out of the game. Brett could break a leg and still go out there.
What's the word I'm looking for here to describe Rodgers?
Oh yeah.......BLEEP.

They can't even sellout Family Day at Lambeau this year. There are still 15,000 tickets left!

BTW...the word I used above is another word for a cat.

I have a good question for you guys. How many times has a great QB been followed up by another awesome QB. All of the those follow up QB's are no name nobodies that didn't do squat with their teams.

I live in Wisconsin too and I think that Favre should STAY RETIRED. He pulls this stunt every year where he wants to retire and then later he wants to come back. I think that it is a publicly stunt that Favre wants to come back. The man obviously don't know how to make up him mind. One or the other, either play or stay retired but do both.

rodgers would be a great qb for the packers, but what if he gets hurt? i would like to see flynn be the #2 guy behind rodgers. behind flynn should be brohm, then nall. i cannot see favre taking a backup role with the packers. great job on the posting of this blog.
