You'll never guess how many people have forgotten (or ignore) the reason for Christmas. Okay, so maybe you can... And there is the problem. The fact that it has become Okay for us not to acknowledge the meaning of Christmas. And I'm not talking abut how it used to be this or that type of holiday, who started it first why it was originally started. The fact is that CHRISTMAS was 'developed' to celebrate the birth of Jesus, Christ.
I'll admit, when I was a kid, Jesus was not the main focus at Christmas. Sure, we had our nativity set (which we put up on Turkey day) but I do not remember talking about the true meaning of Christmas, the reason for it ect with my parents during that time. There are a few other times a year that I vaguely remember something about it (as a kid) and I could very well not be remembering being told the story. Either way, that is sad. Shouldn't we remember important 'stories' like that, and who told us?
I'll tell you what I do remember, and this is a good example of how bad things can go in a church. In about 1981 or 1982, my family attended a church on the south side of Kenosha. One day, I think it was Sunday school, the pastors daughter and I got into a argument (I was 6 or 7) She had said tat the church was her Daddy's church. I got angry and told her that it was JESUS'S church and that her Daddy worked for him. (That's all I remember) according to my parents, Aunts/Uncles and grandparents, the argument got ugly... As ugly as 6 year old girls get... And we were asked NOT to return to the church. SO, you tell me... Was it her Daddy's church or is it Jesus's church? (BTW, I believe the same pastor is still there as pastor)
I'm not trying to judge people on this topic, that's not MY job. But, it would be nice to hear something about Christmas on the radio/TV about it, besides on the fish (my favorite radio station btw). What's your take?

I love taking pictures and dislike customer service jobs. I think that people don't have enough respect for those who do customer service jobs, therefore in return, they get poor service. I graduate next week with a degree in Graphic Design and can't wait to leave my current position for better pay and hopefully more respect from customers and co-workers.
