Hey everyone, its been awhile since I have blogged about anything, been kind of busy looking for jobs, which I haven't found yet. Anyways, I just wanted to hand out my "Idiot of the Day Award" to Kenosha's dumbest driver. I have seen some really dumb people do some really dumb things, like making turns in a non designated turning lane, passing on double yellows, running red lights, but this one tops the idiot cake in my book. I was coming back home from my walk down by the lake and I was at a red light. So like most drivers, I'm just sitting there watching cars go by, and I looked to my left, and saw a group of three cars waiting to turn left. They start making their turn, and the third car in line, decides to cut his turn short. He decides to pass the the two cars in front of him on the left, which means driving into the oncoming lane, flooring it, passing the two cars, then finally getting into his lane. Ironically he used his turn signal to signal that he wanted to get back into his proper lane. The worst part of the story is, not even five seconds after he gets into his proper lane, oncoming traffic comes down the road, and in the pack of cars is a sheriff SUV. I couldn't believe what I saw, and I was mad the sheriff didn't show up earlier. I would of loved to see the sheriff turn around and pull him over, but it didn't happen. The guy must of been in a rush, because I never saw him again. I can guarantee though, if he got pulled over, I would of slowed down enough to point and laugh at him though. So lets all give a round of applause and congratulate the owner of the newer model Mazda, for being the "Idiot of the Day." Lets just hope and pray this idiot doesn't end up killing some innocent pedestrian or driver someday. If anyone can top this Idiot of the day, feel free to tell me, I would love to hear about it.
