Synopsis by Fox 6 meteorologist Rob Haswell


Partly sunny skies today and tomorrow with dry conditions but cooler than average temperatures.

Things look soggy and cool for Mom's Day.  A low will move across Iowa into Illinois and bring occasional rain starting late Saturday night and continuing into Sunday. Up to three quarters of an inch is possible.  The heaviest rain will be near the state line.  Breezy NE winds will make it feel even chillier with most areas seeing temperatures inthe 40's or near 50 degrees.

Monday and Tuesday looking to improve slightly.




Friday: Mostly Cloudy & Cool

High: 56 Inland, 48 Lakeside

Wind: N-NE 7-15 mph

 

Friday Night: Evening Clouds, Then Clearing

Low: 35-40

Wind: NE-N 5-10 mph

 

Saturday: Morning Sun, Afternoon Clouds

High: 63 Inland, 54 Lakeside

Wind: NE-E 7-15 mph


Sunday: Rain likely

Highs in the upper 40s and near 50.
