Favre is washed up...he isn't coming back for "his" team, he's coming back to break some stupid records. But that's ok with me cause when you all are crying because he's sitting out half way through the season...I'll be laughing it up watching Vince Young take the Titans to the Superbowl and watchinh aaron rodgers go 0-9.

Wow! How could we be anything but excited? Anyone who has ever listened to other NFL personnel talk about Brett, or watched an interview knows he is not interested in money or records. He just LOVES football, which is why he's so fun to watch. I can't wait to see more of that little boy smile next season.

Big deal:So he is coming back. The records he wants to break, mean nada.If he had to play the game like Mareno had too.no special rules on hiting the quarterback, the amount of games per seson now..It is a wonder that other records aint broken..To think of all the good quaterbacks that went to other teams cause of Favre the ball hog.If Vince was still alive none of this would be going on..Play play the media..Go Bears.................

It's not a suprise coming from a guy who's only in it for his own personal gain. I have never been a Packers fan and never will be. I don't know why people think he's a god or something, maybe this year he will play with a walker or cane. I do feel bad for anyone who is his backup because we all know that with Brett "the ball hog" around no one else can play even though it's obvious the man should have retired a few years ago when he was at least able to run around.

Brett has always played for the love of the game. He isn't interested in records. He has shown heart throughout his record breaking career. When he played after his father's death he didn't play for any records , he played because that's what his father would have wanted.
Honestly, I don't have to justify Brett or his career. The things he has accomplished are recorded both in record books and in NFL history.
Oh, and , if you can't tell. I am very excited!! I believe we will win the division next year. I won't guess any further than that.
Today's announcement made my day!!

We're getting Brett back! Now he just needs a good team around him! How much room do we have under the salary cap?

Well, for 8 million bucks per year. I dont think I would come back. I would move to warmer climates!
Am I glad that he is back?
Has he really officially left?????
(thought he was "undecided" at the last game he was asked)

Other than that, I dont watch much football. So it doesn't bother me if he stays or goes.

YAHOO!! I am glad to hear Brett is coming back. I wasn't sure listening to him talk after the last packer game, but couldn't be happier to hear #4 is still with us. He is still an awesome athlete, and a great motivator for the team, and will be a big part in helping the new guys develope. Packer fans will be celebrating this weekend...Thanks Brett for one more year!

I am ecstatic that Brett is coming back. He is not coming back for the records or the money...he is a southern boy that drives a pickup truck. If he wanted the money he never would have taken pay cuts over the years to play for "America's team."

He is the greatest QB to ever play the game and he has almost every record without trying to get them. That comes with being great! He has maybe a couple more years left. He isn't getting any younger but he still is way better than all the other QB's in the league. Granted that doesn't take much! After finishing 8 and 8, we have allot of talent on the team and we will see a Superbowl soon!

And for all you Bear fans, the Bears are going to get crushed by Indianapolis in the Super Bowl. It has been 21 years since the Bears have won it, and it will be several more before they win it. Getting there and winning it is two different things. Sorry Bear Fans, Rex Grossman is no Brett Favre. After all we crushed the Bears, the final game of the season...now the Bears are in a Super Bowl...ha ha ha!

You people are all nuts! The Packers will not be in the superbowl with him or anyone else for a long long time...(mark my words) The Bears are in the SB and the Packers would love to be there..admit it and get over it! Please refrain from saying "we" when refering to the Packers....you are not on the team idiot! Oh yeah, he is better than all other QB's???? Not even close...in top 10 probably, but what has he or his team done in the last decade to make him the best? 2 1/2 time MVP and SB was along time ago! Most people around here live in the past when it comes to GB. All those fat middle-aged women with their 1996 (11 year old) SB sweatshirts are funny, aren't they?

thechief....you are a rude person. Why bother to post if all you have to do is write cruel and rude comments? I hope the Fox6 folks kick you off of here.
Also, we say we because the Packers are owned by the city of Green Bay and they are our team. We have a dedication and love that goes beyond a bandwagon fan.
