"X-Files 2" is finally rolling

TV Guide is reporting on their site that a sit-down has finally occured between David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson and Chris Carter to discuss a new "X-Files" movie.  They are slated to start filming in December.  Carter will direct the script he worte with Frank Spotnitz.

This is great news.  I have been DVR-ing a ton of old episodes that have been airing on Sci-Fi.  Most recently, I watched the great episode "Jose Chung's From Outer Space."

Anyone else excited to hear this?  What are some of your favoite episodes?

I am super excited about this! I love the X-Files series. Some of my favourite episodes are the Tombs ones, the WOW episode, the flourescent green bugs one and so many more! Also, the one where Mulder goes to Stonehedge is a great one. I actually went to Stonehedge and picked up the same T-Shirt and Hat he got. Crazy, huh?

yes i am glad they are making more episodes i like mulder on there better than the other one.. i think the last episode is when they were out in the desert.. wonder if they will continue from there
