Well, he's retired. He announced it with a phone call to an ESPN reporter, and following that, had a tearful news conference. After 17 seasons, he's putting up the #4 jersey. But for the day he retired and the day after, I had one question in my mind.

COULDN'T THE NEWS REPORT OTHER STORIES TOO?
I sat there waiting to see if another story was going to air, but it didn't. Yes, I know Brett Favre retired, now can I see some other news? I understand he was a football legend, but I think the media reported it a little too much. All I saw on the news was "Brett Favre Retires!", the weather and nothing else. Oh well, at least I got my 6-Day Forecast.

Anyway, I think there's another reason why he retired besides "being tired". I think it was because he threw that interception at the NFC Championship that cost the Packers the game. Even though it may have not been intentional, I still think he is feeling really guilty about it.

I am slightly saddened to see Brett retire, but you know, I think everyone knew it was coming. Brett's gone, now its time to give Aaron Rodgers a try.
