Brett's finally on a plane back to training camp.  60,000 fans are supposed to be in the seats at Lambeau.  Aaron Rodgers is ready to lead the Pack in the family night scrimmage.  And there's a storm over Green Bay.

Appropriate, no?

This is going to be a mixed reaction topic just like a mixed reaction on LIVE TV BREAKING NEWS.

I know last time you said, you would want him to just sit back and relax, but now I guess the whole game is about to change.

He's got practice on Tuesday (along with Ryan Grant), so Ryan will be happy to see him along with a few others maybe like Greg Jennings, but as for the rest of the Team, who knows.

Same thing for the fans. A lot of them will be happy to see them, then there are a lot of others who be split with him because you know everyone says he's playing games and all this other stuff. Hey, it's football. What else can you do or say if you are someone who has to take his time to render his decision?

Well for those who wanted him to come back, you might-as-well you have finally got what you've asked for.

Bryan, how are you feeling (even though this is not what you wanted to see)?

What I didn't want to see was Brett's legacy irrevocably altered. I didn't want to believe the long, emotional goodbye was a pump fake. But that ship sailed a long time ago.

When I wrote "Say it ain't so, Brett" none of us knew the bizarre twists and turns this saga would take.

At this point, I'm thrilled Favre's coming back. I'd much rather see him in Packers green and gold than in any other uniform. Is he's playing at all, he should be playing in Green Bay.

If #4 is truly back on the field Tuesday, there is no quarterback competition. Aaron Rodgers already knows that. And so does Ted Thompson.

Okay, so there is an "I" in I-Team. But don't be fooled. There's more Team than meets the eye. There is my producer, Pat McCraney; our extraordinary editor, Dave Michuda; and some of the best photojournalists in the business. As for me, I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri (Pattonville High School). I got my bachelors degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. And I've worked in both radio and television in Missouri, Iowa, and Wisconsin. In fact, I met a Wisconsin girl while working in Des Moines. We got married in the spring of 2000, moved to Kansas City, and four years later, she brought me home. We have two of the cutest kids on earth, plus two cats that give our Dyson a workout. I love snow skiing, soccer, Texas Hold 'Em, the St. Louis Cardinals, and ice cold beer (not necessarily in that order). I have a passion for my work. But there is no greater joy in my life than being a dad. Subscribe to my blog and you'll get an email everytime I add a new post.
