I was outside Sunday evening and there was a definite chill in the air. In my mind, I was thinking about summer and saying, "no, don't go yet. It took so long for you to get here. " ... just a reminder of things to come.

Today, I went to the hair salon. Got a trim-- and well, the works. On my way to work, it started to rain and the humidity was thick... I parked my car, walked into the television station and I just knew... my hair did not look the way it did when I started my journey. The slightest humidity cause the frizzies. What's a girl to do?

It's spring. It's supposed to rain and I'm not complaining, especially since I put down some grass seed. Bring on the rain!!!!

Now that the snow has melted on my lawn.... it looks awful. It's matted and yucky. How does yours look? Do you plan any extra TLC for it?
winter memories

Now that winter seems to be slowly leaving us, I thought about the many memories this winter will leave with me. The biggest is the big snow storm, Mar. 21st. I wasn't here to see it. I was trying to return from my vacation. My connector flight was to begin in Atlanta for Milwaukee that Friday. Didn't happen. Mitchell was closed. So, I had to spend the night in Atlanta. Then I couldn't get a flight to Milwaukee until Monday. So, I took a flight Saturday morning for Chicago-- then took a shuttle for Milwaukee. Long day, and a day I'll never forget.
