Tonight, we took a hard look at a cold case.  If you've lived in Wisconsin at least 16 years you probably remember the disappearance case of Laurie Depies in the Appleton area. It got national media attention at the time.  I've only lived in Wisconsin for 10 years so I had to dig for all the background material I could find.  Even asking  a suspect, a man who is now serving time in federal prison for murder, to grant me an interview. Unfortunately, he said no.   What I learned gave me a greater appreciation for detective work.  This case has so many possibilities.  Please watch it and you'll see what I mean.

But there is someone out there who knows what happened to Laurie or may have information that could possibly lead to the person responsible for her disappearance. The first day of Summerfest, I along with Ted Perry and Gus Gnorski, helped collect food items at the Summerfest gate.

I left there for work at Fox 6... I had packed a change of clothes.  When I changed and put my feet in my high heel shoes, I discovered they were both black-- but they did not match!!!!!  Fortunately, they didn't show my feet on air.

History was made today.  The Milwaukee Fire Department has it's first female battalion chief.

Today, 2-3 people jumped on a school bus and attacked the bus driver. ANOTHER bus driver attack.  I have a proposal. Let's have a city-wide anger management class!

Have you seen the video of the bus driver getting pummeled as he drives the bus?  Some guy wearing a bandana jumps on the bus and starts pounding on the driver. There is so much anger and hatred in the attack it's disturbing.  It's unfortunate that so many people can't control their anger... and instead let stuff build up and fester.

Sometimes we get information into the newsroom and you just shake your head.  For instance, the story of the two cousins in a snowball fight. These weren't kids. They were young men.  One puts the other in a headlock.  When the other is let free he stabs his cousin.  What!!!???!!  Why the weapon?  Why bodily harm?
