I just wanted to extend my wishes to the family, friends and collegues of Tim Russert who passed away today. My heart goes out to him, especially his son, as father's day approaches.

I never agreed with him politically, but there was no denying he was a good man who put his family first.

My prayers to his family and friends.

He was one of the few liberal talking heads that I respected.
I even bought his book for my dad last fathers day.

i was watching the US OPEN golf tourney on nbc when they broke the news around i believe 3 this afternoon. our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and freidns along with his colleagues at NBC always and forever from all of us bloggers. great job on the posting of this blog.

He was one of those rare individuals that comes around just a time or two every generation. He certainly made his mark and his loss will be felt in many places by many people. An excellent example of a life well spent.
